ReCraft Construction Services Houston
The Efficiency of Green

Founder Brent Farrell says he incorporates green products and practices into all of his projects, transforming older houses into green-efficient homes by specializing in healthy renovations. In 2011, ReCraft saved one family 80 percent on their electric bill, lowering it from $900 to $200. ReCraft also helped the family cut its water consumption in half. The savings earned the company an emerald certificate from the National Association of Home Builders.

Impact by the Numbers: 40
Number of green remodels Farrell says ReCraft has completed as flip homes since 2009, noting that all sold within a month. The company works on up to four projects simultaneously, including work for other homeowners.
