Remodeling Houston Renovation – This whole-home renovation project was a home that ReCraft purchased, totally gutted and renovated with green construction techniques and materials, and then sold to a very satisfied new home-owner. The ranch style home was clean, but had never been updated at all. The first thing the home needed were structural changes that … … made more efficient use of the space. The kitchen was large, but closed off from the rest of the home. The bathrooms were small, but there was extra space available to make them larger. The home benefited from three large bedrooms with plentiful closet space as well as hallway closet space. The master bathroom was expanded by re-thinking the closet space and making it more efficient. In addition to beautiful granite finishes and tile work, ReCraft also updated 100% of the plumbing including underground plumbing, updated the electrical, put on a new roof, installed all new high efficiency HVAC (heating and air conditioning system inclusive of duct work as well as the equipment), new high efficiency double-pane windows, low flow water fixtures, and an instant-on hot water system (which eliminates the need for a big tank and created space for a large mud-room between the garage and kitchen). This huge improvement added value to the home and the new homeowners who love all of the updates.
