. – This lovely West University home had a master bathroom that looked dated and was not the oasis that the family wanted. ReCraft listened to their concerns, and addressed each of them in our bathroom remodel design. The couple complained of wasted space, a small shower, inadequate storage space and pinkish tile. They had no use for the large bath tub which was the original focal point of the room, so we eliminated the tub and put in a large shower with a bench, body spray faucets and glass block windows for privacy. The old shower space was converted to a linen cabinet with custom cabinetry. The decor included large 12″x24″ tiles with a subtle touch of a modern mosaic trim in the shower. Additional storage was added in between the sinks, and the counter tops were updated with carrera marble finished to look extra thick on the edges with under mount sinks.
